Rediscovering Wesleyan Theology
Wesleyan Rooted is a comprehensive, five-part worship and spiritual formation journey that will integrate many aspects of your congregation’s programs and ministries. A wide number of people from across the Conference have been working for several months on all these components, to make this shared experience a powerful one for you.
There is a worship component, which provides recommended scriptures, themes, and sermon titles. It also provides suggestions for prayers and liturgies, contemporary and traditional music, and graphics to use for promotion and worship production.
There is also a small group component, which provides resources for people to gather in more personal settings outside worship for study, prayer, and mutual support. There are also suggestions for spiritual practices that can be done privately or with others.
There is a children’s component, uniquely tailored for young people in your church, including a marvelous book specifically written for their age level.

As a result of taking this journey together, you will gain a renewed understanding of our Wesleyan theology of sanctification and grace. Your heart will be filled with a rekindled sense of God’s love at work in and through you. And you will have greater motivation to follow the spiritual practices that will lead you to transformation in Christ. The result will be a clearer and more passionate desire to engage in the missional work of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
