Call to Worship (based on Psalm 62:1-5)
Do you hear the call to salvation?
We get quiet so we can listen carefully.
I hope the call grows.
Our hope is from the Lord.
God alone is our rock and salvation.
God is our fortress.
We shall never be shaken.
Unison Prayer
Loving God, your sacred scriptures are full of stories of persons who have sought you in silence and stillness. From Elijah to the Psalmist, from Galilee to heaven, you speak volumes to us through silence. Awaken us now to your grace through our own practice of silence (pause). Amen.
Offertory Prayer
God of generosity, even in sheer silence you are giving. By way of your grace, bless these gifts so that wherever they go, they go with the strength of your presence. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
